Fashion Programs for High School Students
Are you considering a career in fashion design? At Runway To Success you’ll learn about the business of fashion and discover what it takes to successfully bring a brand from ideation to market. Our programs for creative teens and young adults are offered in schools and community spaces in the greater Alexandria, Virginia area as well as online.
Develop the skills and knowledge you need for a future career in fashion with instruction by professional fashion designer, Elizabeth Diamant. Get real-world perspectives and insider knowledge as you build skills in business, design, and marketing in a supportive environment. Runway To Success’s interactive programs explore the business side of the industry, from brand development to retail operations. Our programs teach leadership skills that can apply to all areas of life. Workshops on public speaking, presentation, and creative problem solving set the foundation for a successful future, no matter where it may lead.

Program Curriculum
MODULE 1
Intro to Business
Students will learn the basics about business including but not limited to the different types of businesses, how to incorporate their business, and business ethics.
MODULE 2
Product Development
Students will learn the basics about product development including but not limited to start up costs, marketing, branding, target audience.
MODULE 3
Business Funding
Students will learn the basics of funding their business including crowd funding, grants, grassroots, and pre-orders
MODULE 4
Build
the Plan
Students will take all the initiative and write and present a viable business plan for their business.
Our programs are open to high school students ages 13-18 in Northern Virginia.
